Hello Mister Bakshi,
My name is Wyman from California and just returned from Vilnius where I am working to create a Jewish library. There have been articles in Forward, Baltic Times, Lynchburg News and Daily Advance, Hadassah Magazine, a taped interview with the most popular Lithuanian news site delfi.lt, and an upcoming newspaper article in the Lithuanian paper “Jerusalem of Lithuania”. I will be mentioned in the May issue of the San Diego Jewish Journal. Various online Jewish newsletters and sites have also mentioned the library project.
The Jewish community in Vilnius is supporting the library and are working with me to find a location in which to place it. I am contacting musicians, publishers and authors and asking them if they are able to donate CDs and books for the cause. I have received music from people like Mendy Cahan and Janis Ian and books from Sir Martin Gilbert and Michael Wex and Simon and Schuster among others. I am also receiving art from Judy Chicago and Donald Woodman for the library walls. I hope that you can help in the effort to revive Jewish culture in Vilna. Thank you so very much for your time and my best wishes to you.
Respectfully Yours,
Wyman
P.S. I saw Fritz the Cat at a young age and it permanently warped me. All I can say is thank you.

I grew up in Brownsville and was friends with your sister Eva and was thrilled to read the article in the NY Times. I would love to hear from Eva again….could you put us in touch?

Could you possibly made this book available in Canada? That would mean a whole lot to me. Thank you!
